read it and I will give it 2.4 stars out of 5.  Too far flung for my taste but entertaining at least.

I read it a few weeks ago.  Very much Stephen King formulaic.  But it entertained me.  Also had a hint of the Borg.

I swear I remember reading that King said he was going to finish the Dark Tower series and then retire from writing altogether.  I wonder what happened with that.
