Saw 2

Granted its been getting similiar reviews to the first one, but its not really the same type of movie.  Sure it has the grotesque "ohmygod he's not going to...?" feature to it, but Saw 1 had a shroud of mystery and an atmosphere of unsettling creepiness.  A true horror/psych thriller.  Saw 2 is more of a flat out suspense-action movie with some twists thrown in the plot.

I liked the last one.  It's one of like 3 movies that has ever shaken me up a bit.

I actually liked it a lot better than I thought I would.  Ryan Reynolds surprised me.


As far as Saw 2 goes, I really liked this one too.  It was a very tense "oh my god" type of movie... but it didn't leave me as shaken up as the first one.  Plus, I kept thinking "Poor Lucy Camden".

I was pretty surprised and enjoyed it.  I don't like "startle gore" horror as opposed to mess with your mind horror, but nonetheless, Saw 2 and Amitysville Horror kept my attention.
