I requested an invite.  I've been meaning to figure out what this is for a while now since I see so many people pinning stuff.  Is it basically like telling other people websites you like?

I've been using it as a bookmark type thing that is always there when I need it.  It's an easy way to mark recipes that look yummy without cluttering up my browser.
