Why is this only a Southern thing?

Surely Terry Gilliam could have gotten someone better than Heath Ledger.
Underneath this flabby exterior is an enormous lack of character.

I heard the studio took it out of his hands again and altered it.

Poor Terry can't get a movie made without someone screwing it up.  :(
