This plays on MSNBC again next Sunday at 4:00.  Someone PLEASE watch it.  I need someone to talk to about it.

This is the most heartbreaking film I've ever seen.  It left me stunned and crying for a good 20 minutes after it was over.  It was also very inspirational, though.  I don't know how anyone could watch this without hoping to be a better person, really.

I don't want to talk too much about the subject matter, because while 'spoiler' is the wrong word for it, I wouldn't want to lessen the impact of the film.

Just...wow.
we should have kept the quote pyramid up to rape Jessie in the face.

it's kinda nice to see publicity for crimes committed by women where it's not yet another "SYMPATHIZE WITH THIS TORTURED WOMAN WHO IS BUT A SLAVE TO HER EMOTIONS :'(:'(:'(:'(:'("

i hear it's an unabashedly skewed heartwrencher.  didn't know it would be on tv

Jessie

It is completely heartwrenching.  The parents of the murder victim are amazing people, if this film is in any way accurate.  Awe inspiring, really.

honestly i think the statement that we should all walk away with from this is that we need to crush canada with our iron fist of democracy, and bring justice to the lands of naked, maple-crazed commies.

(i'm familiar with the story not the movie, btw.)

Beefy

It wasn't at Blockbuster on Tuesday.  I wanted to rent it.
