twilight at the top of the list?????FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFff

what's your favorite?

mine would be blade.

eo000

oh, and if any of you know a way to get my hands on let the right one in, let me know. i really want to see that.

dazie

I liked "From Dusk Til Dawn"

I can't believe "Dead and Loving It!" isn't on the list!
"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
I think so, Brain, but how will we get the Spice Girls into the paella?

Jessie

I loved Love at First Bite when I was a kid.

Interview with the Vampire is the best movie, but From Dusk Til Dawn is the most fun.
we should have kept the quote pyramid up to rape Jessie in the face.

BigDun

Buffy -  I still occasionally get out that DVD and watch it.

you really liked the tv show, too, right?

swolt

My favorite was the Underworld series.

Interview with the Vampire was good but not something I would watch again. Plus I read the book, which was really kind of boring. I wish I had seen the movie first.

Yes, but I didn't start watching the tv series until it had been out on DVD for several years.

Gamplayerx

Lost Boys is definitely the best one.

I really liked the book.  I read it probably 10 years after seeing the movie.  Maybe more.

Mr. Ubiquity

People seem to forget this isnt a list of his/her favorite movies, this is a gross earnings list from the most to least.  The one I like isnt in there, but i dont think it made alot of money either.   Quirky but i still like it.  Near Dark.
"if I wank to it, will u feel disgusted or flattered or a perverse combo of both?"

It's playing here and I want to see it soooooo baaaaad.  The guy who directed Cloverfield is already remaking it.

I don't know that I have a favorite.

Near Dark.  Lost Boys.  Dracula's Daughter.  Vampyr.  30 Days of Night.

i think chicago is the closest to me it's playing. there's got to be a screener torrented by now.

Of course twilight is number one.  It's vampires for teenagers and teenagers are retards as a rule.

As for best Vampire movie on the list?  I'd lean towards Blade II.  An -actual- scary bad guy weighs in for a lot.  Almost all of the other ones are just goth cockstroking - like a network executive trying to figure out what "young people think is 'cool'".

BigDun

But Paul Rubins death scene in Buffy was the best death scene ever!

I completely agree with this.

Now I'm going to play the role of Beefy the film junkie and say that the original Nosferatu was my favorite.

That was PeeWee?  I thought it was Lazlo from Real Genius.  Who knew?

I did just learn that Lazlo was Uncle Rico in Napoleon Dynamite.  Thank you, G4 channel, for this completely important information.

I AM SO HYPED ABOUT SEEING THIS MOVIE SOOON
(non sarcastic)

Let the Right One In
probably only at your local arthouse theater.

Near Dark is the only good vampire movie around.

Blade though entertaining is more of a mainstream blockbuster comic book hero, than vampire-horror.

I had Thanksgiving dinner with Merrill Capps, the co-writer co-director co-star of this movie. He is married to one of Sara's friends from college.
I haven't seen the movie. He told me it was on Netflix, and I thought maybe one of you would like to try it out. He said it was cheesy/campy horror, although the reviews on IMDB are pretty bad.

He was also a backup dancer in "Ray".

(for anyone paying attention, I had dinner at my aunt and uncle's house in CA. Merrill and Julie (his wife) came and ate with us.)
