I'm behind the times on this, of course.

This is the follow-up series from the creator of Cowboy Bebop.  It's trying to do a similar thing with melding genres, historical periods, and music.  When it first started, I was annoyed by it.

By the end of disc 1, I was hooked.

Recommended for you Bebop fans.  It's not quite as good (at least not yet), but worth sticking through the (possible) initial distaste.

Disc 2 tonight.  And maybe some Ninja Scroll.

I was pumping this series on CH a while back when I was watching Fansubs of Samurai Champloo.  Great series.  Ends beautifully.  Fansub torrents are still available.
