I just saw the movie today in a theater that had 7 total people in it.  I thought it was going to suck at the begining, but was laughing loudly by the end.  I hae to commend Jason Seigel for showing full frontal not just one time.  His girlfriend must be very proud.   I guess the whole Freeks and Geeks connections are really starting to pay off.  There was a trailer for the next Apatow movie and it has Seth Rogan and James Franco in it.

The Pineapple Express looks awesome.  Who knew Franco could do comedy?

I saw it the other night and I was not impressed.  At times, it develops a good comedy rhythm but then it loses it again.  They flesh out the unimportant "set-up" characters more than most movies do and it gives it a more three dimensional feel but in the end, it doesn't add much to the story.

Milla was smoking hot, even just walking around in t-shirts and jeans.  She's got a future as romantic interest in films.  I could have done without all the male nudity or least had some balance and get some female frontal action going with it.

And the new Seth Rogan film looks REALLY odd and it got me thinking that they are trying to re-invent the form of a comedy film but so far, they keep missing the mark.  It could just be that while they are funny people, they are also folks who just can't properly finish a script.

A lot of what they do is fresh, sometimes very clever, and the dialogue is usually strong, but they lose out because everything is uneven.
