Timothy and I watched this last night.  I was worried about it being rated R, but that was totally unwarranted.

It was good.  We liked it.

My baby is growing to really like the foreign films and doesn't even complain about the subtitles any more.

It's a beautiful, visually poetic film.  It's just a little bit too slowly paced.

It is stunning visually, isn't it?

You can definitely see the similarities to Delicatessen in that aspect, and the way the visuals and music are tied together.

I watched this last night, it's one of the new free movies On Demand.

I really enjoyed it.  I didn't realize Ron Perlman spoke French.

And Spanish.  He was in Guillermo Del Toro's first Spanish film, Chronos.

That's crazy.  I really like him - I just didn't know he was that versatile.   I bet he'd be fascinating to have dinner with.
