You know, I think that if there was a person you didn't like, and you handed them Wasabi Peas and a Vernor's ginger ale, and told them to inhale the smell of Vernor's through their nose and then take a bite of the Wasabi Peas and then exhale through their nose, you could kill them and totally get away with it.

I wonder if Catchr could have been being ironical.

I love food from eastern and southern Mexico.

Mexican food is kind of nasty.  I'll stick with Tex-mex.
16:15:43 [Gamplayerx] Juneau, I could really go for some pie. You better Belize it!

I don't think catchr's two sentences were so strongly related as certain readers have interpreted.

real mexican food is rather bland; sometimes having something low-taste in my mouth for too long turns my stomach.

??  Crack much?  REAL Mexican food is bursting with flavors.

I direct you to the cookbook "Cocina de la Familia" if you're curious.
"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
I think so, Brain, but how will we get the Spice Girls into the paella?

I'm going to have to agree with hatt.  Tex-Mex uses a lot more seasoning.

I'm going to have to agree with dazie. Although Tex-Mex is tasty, too.

geez, my late night pre-bed rantings really left a firestorm.

I'll clarify:

1)  Overall Taco Bell is terrible.  The Meximelt however, is pretty darn good.

2)  Personally I'm not a fan of Tex-Mex food.  Odd spices and seems mushier.  I just wanted to stomp on some Texans pride thats all.    Northern and Mexico City Mexican food is regionally what I've become more accustomed too.  I don't like Southern Mexican/Guatalmalean stuff that much either.

The two above statements were not meant to be related.

Ditto.  I'm quite used to, and therefore quite fond of, Sonoran food.  Jalisco-style cuisine is a favorite.

when you've ripped a crawfish in half and sucked it's brain's out through it's neck, you'll eat just about anything.
