I was going crazy wanting to know the song in a Volvo commercial, so I eventually posted a TF thread. I found out the song before someone posted it.

It was Donovan's Catch the Wind. I'm putting it in the dump.

I want to find some more of this folky-Bob Dylanesque version of Donovan. It's a lot better than his Mellow Yellow and Sunshine Superman type stuff.

I'm going to try and find the Catch the Wind album. Amazon has an Import version that says it takes 3 to 5 weeks to ship.
Underneath this flabby exterior is an enormous lack of character.

we should have kept the quote pyramid up to rape Jessie in the face.

If you would check your gmail once and a while, you wouldn't need a reminder.

Couldn't you just remind me?  Gosh, what do I keep you around for?

It's the chunky soup.

I heard it's 'cause his mom beats him if he throws more interceptions than touchdowns.

Donovan is one pretty cool dude. Season of the witch, and Wear your love like heaven are two of my favorite songs.  Catch the wind is a great album, but you can't go wrong with his greatest hits album either.
full of mulatto goodness since 1979!

Tom Tucker:  Hurricane RuPaul is making his or her way down the coast.  Here with the Black-u-weather forecast, Ollie Williams.
Ollie Williams:  It's rainin' sideways!
Tom: Do you have an umbrella?
Ollie:  Had one!
Tom:  Where is it now?
Ollie:  About two miles away, turned inside out!
Tom:  Anything we can bring you?
Ollie:  Soup!
Tom:  What kind?
Ollie:  Chunky!
