The KC PBS station is making a documentary on "The True Story of the Missouri-Kansas Border War" (ie: Bleeding Kansas and the proto-civil war)

They'll be filming the Kansas side this fall, in Linn County.  I've offered them the cabin for filming, as it's authentic and all- I'm hoping they say yes!

I learned a lot about that conflict when I listened to Trueman by David McCullough on Audible. I never knew there was such bad blood between those two states.
