Can I do this on here?  I tried googling but apparently there's some sort of PHP thingy required to go along with it.

Or is there another way to take my rotating quotes HTML file (http://www.d-42.com/quotes.html) and make it appear in my signature and rotate the quotes accordingly?

after looking at what this offers, you will probably have more success using a dynamic image (see my avatar) or a flash app.

I have 1200 quotes.  It would take a VERY long time to do those as a dynamic image.

I don't think you understand the capabilities behind the scenes when I say "a dynamic image".

This PHP example expects to have a file called quotes.txt sitting in the same directory, with one quote per line.

Cool.  I think I actually have a file like that.  I will research this.

One question:  what would the filename be?  (of the image)

meredith

It would point to the PHP document.

It would point to the PHP document.

So the BBCode tag would be:

{img}http://www.d-42.com/quotes.php{/img}

Correct?

meredith

yep. works just like an image

Now I just need to know how to wrap the text, because some of these are pretty long.

Either that, or I can take out the long ones... but I like them.

I like the one that just popped up, that I can't copy paste.  Full of garble.

Sorry.  That's the trouble with images... You could copy image into paint or photoshop and then imageshack or tinypic it if you really want to.

Guess you haven't worked out that wrapping thing yet.
