What they don't tell you about superfast DVD burners is that when you're trying to put 2000 images on a DVD for archival purposes, it takes FOREVER to estimate the time remaining before it even starts burning.  *grumble*

(just grumping)

Why bother with the estimating time part?

Mr. Ubiquity

with 2,000 porno pics, you should be sufficiently distracted to not worry about the time. There are other tasks at hand, so to speak, that are more pressing.

I burned about 600 pics to a cd yesterday and it took about 3 minutes.  You etching that DVD by hand?

The burning process only took about five minutes.  It was the ESTIMATING process that took 20.
