Does anyone know a quicker way to clear documents out of the Windows XP "recent documents" menu without "right click taskbar -> properties -> start menu -> customize -> clear"?  Like, is there a hidden button I don't know about?

Got something to hide?

Not as such, but sometimes I might double-click some pr0n and then be at work and want to show something to my boss or an employee and accidentally float too long over the documents menu... stuff like that.

I don't know of an easy way to do that.  I have an eraser app that I run at work that clears all of that stuff out.  Since I write a lot of javascript lately I'm always having to dump the cache to test the latest changes.  You can get that at http://www.privacyeraser.com.  I just keep it running all day so that I can zap cache at a moment's notice.  It also cleans out recent documents and other stuff, but I don't use that part of it.

Yeah, true, I could do that, but occasionally I do like to use My Documents when I'm working on projects with multiple files.

I've looked into programs like that and they would work, but I was basically looking for a Windows shortcut.

My wife pointed out that it was only five clicks.  I guess it won't kill me.  I was just looking for a shortcut.

Adaware will do it for you, too.  Less clicks, but more time.

you've put us in a " cant get credit without a load, cant get a load withour credit" situation.  Use your personal computer for porn and just bring a magazine and toss off on your break.
