Apparently some Christian groups are raising a stink about her newest video.  It's nothing particularly shocking.  Certainly her peers have released a lot more suggestive stuff.  PS, the song blows.

And Beef, how does this not strike you as hot no matter how dumb/untalented she is?

If others dig her, that's cool.  I just don't.  When I look at her I see the epitomy of everything that's wrong with how we teach our young women to be (and what we teach our young men to consider attractive).  She's like a walking mannequin or Barbie doll.  There's no humanity there, no soul.  It's all fake.

Do you think she really looks like that?  What we see is the product of a bunch of people nursing her body and career to a very specific point/goal.  What's she look like with her real hair color (does she remember what it is)?  Before the nose job?  Without people paying her to work out four hours a day with professional trainers? 

The end result of all this manipulation is not what a normal person looks like, a fact that Nick Lachey will no doubt espouse greatly on in a tell all book one day.

And then, well, she opens her mouth... and she goes from nauseating to annoying.

I prefer people who manage to find the beauty in who they really are, not what they think they should look like. 

An example would be Liz Phair, pre-sellout.  While her music wasn't always compelling, it was always refreshingly honest.  And she was honest about who she was without trying to be someone else.  That was Sexy As Hell.  While I understand her reasons for the new tepid pop direction of her career, it saddens me in that it somewhat undermines everything she stood for when she was younger.
