I hate all holidays, let me speak as a raving Evangelical and say Jesus said to only commemorate the Last Supper, tastefully and non-commercially. 

Well I like holidays where you have a long weekend, but not so long that you have to make complex plans.

I like "holidays" when there's good food, good music, and no gift obligations.

1.  St. Patrick's Day (although both Kate and my dad have that as their birthday, it is not a gift holiday)
2.  Cinco de Mayo

That's about it.

The only time I was pissed that I didn't get anything for Valentine's Day, was when my boyfriend got his female friend a rose because he felt bad that she had nobody to get her anything on Valentine's Day... but yet he got me nothing.
