I'm in geek love with this little toy.

I was doing a website for a friend of a friend, and she had me add a "wiget" to her reading recommendation page.

I liked it so much I added one to our new blog (see link below) to show what books we're looking at as we go about this whole home building thing.  I can see myself having quite a bit of fun with this.
"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
I think so, Brain, but how will we get the Spice Girls into the paella?

nice property .... endless possibilities.

(save the cabin for DS, hang a red light out front, no rehab required.)

i have a neat book that i took some ideas from, "not so big house", by Sarah Susanka. seems no matter what method of building, more sq footage=more $$.
the home i built can be added to easily down the road, if someone cares to.
i'll send it to you, if you want to check it out.

I lubs me some Sarah Susanka.  I have several of her books.  The "Patterns of Home" is one that she suggested as one that she references quite a bit.  Hers are actually the first home design books we got, back in the day.

The cabin's currently full of rat poop.  I don't think even DS' circle would go for that.   :-X

never saw patterns of home, i'll have to check it out.  ;)

i'm trying to find a reference book for 50s,60s,70s, furniture right now, to determine worth. lots of that stuff is donated to my store. not my taste, but there are shoppers who come by weekly just to check it out.
