I am listening to this for the first time as I clean the house and get ready to go get my little bro.

I'm really digging it.  It's a combination of old and new.

Welcome back, Trent.

Youphoric

Listened to it last night with Brother, some really good music.

Hooray!

Beefy

It's not as unique as Pretty Hate Machine or The Downward Spiral were, but it still has some good stuff on it.  Certainly an improvement on the last outting.

The first time I ever heard NIN was Head Like a Hole. It was in a Corey Haim movie, I think this one.
Underneath this flabby exterior is an enormous lack of character.

Damn, I've been to preoccupied to grab it.  Maybe today.

Their latest single has obviously been playing on the radio up here.

A caller called in and asked, "What's the name of that new Nirvana song you've been playing?"  I wanted to find him and choke him.

That reminds me of something from Junior High.  Back in '86 or '87, whenever Ferris Bueller came out, in Hoston there was a big buzz about "that new group the Beatles" that play Twist and Shout.  A caller on 93Q actually said that phrase and it's been burned into my head as one of the stupidest things I've ever heard.
