Better the second day

I love when leftovers are better than the fresh meal.  Yesterday I made a homemade chicken pot pie, and I just had some of it for lunch.  It was spectacular.

There must be something wrong with me because I really don't care for chicken pot pie.

Me either.  Haven't we talked about this before?

[Jessie]

I don't like the little frozen ones, but this was pretty good. 

There are lots of things that I don't like generally, but when I cook them, I think they're good.

[Gamplayerx]

Do you put *gag* peas *shudder* in your pot pie?

[Jessie]

Yeah, I did.  Oddly enough, I don't like peas on their own, but mixed in a pie or a soup I don't mind them.  I actually had too many peas and too few carrots in this dish.  The flavors are blended together a bit better today than they were yesterday.

I like eating the burned parts of pot pie that stick to the container.
