How much do you pay for your annual checkup and shots for your pets?

Carroll's vet charges somewhere around $130 per animal.

Mine charges $35.

They also did a lot of awesome stuff for Stevie when she was little - no charge for the visits sometimes, free medicine, half price surgery...

Am I just getting the benefit of going to an old country vet, or is that normal?
