Just finished watching "Chariots of Fire" for the first time.  Pretty good stuff, but since I've seen "Four Weddings and a Funeral" so many times, I kept leaning over to Ursus and saying "I thought poncey, what did you think?" and then singing off key with the England song in the church.  (I can't remember what it's called)

This weekend it was "Mr. & Mrs. Smith"

Dayum.  Angelina Jolie is all kinds of hot.  Hell- I'd leave Jennifer Aniston for her!

The movie was pretty good too.

Oh, I watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith Thursday night with Anthony!  It was pure entertainment and nothing more, and I liked it for that.  Plus, yeah, she's freakin' hot.  She does way more for me than Brad Pitt does and I'm straight.  How is that possible?

Because not only is she gorgeous and curvy and feminine, but she can kick ass.  I have no problems imagining her doing that sort of stuff in real life.  As opposed to say, Elisabeth Shue being a cold fusion specialist or a hooker.

I don't care which one is hotter.  I care which one would be better in the sack.  As far as I've seen, Jolie doesn't just play crazy, she is fucking crazy and that always translates in the sack.  You'd get bored putting to aniston after, say, a week.

Last night was "Walk the Line" which I've had since like March.  It got misplaced.

Not a bad flick.  I was pleasantly surprised at the sound of it.  Nobody can sound exactly like Johnny Cash, but JPhoenix came pretty close.  He's quite a talented actor- I think he'll be remembered as being the better of the two Phoenix brother actors.

I noticed several times during the movie I was tensed up, clenching the pillow or the blanket.  That kind of startled me, cuz I know how the story ends- why would I be getting all stressed??

We cancelled Netflix months and months ago.  Over the weekend, I found a Netflix movie mixed in with a bunch of CDs.  Oops.

Not bad- the Pirates of the Caribbean chick at age like 16.  She needs a sammich.

The other girl was very good too- I'm going to imdb her and see what else I can rent with her in it.

The Sheik and The Son of the Sheik

WOOO!  Rudolph Valentino baybee.  I love him.  I've always loved him and I finally got to see him in action. 

The Sheik- not such good acting.  Lots of wide eyes and flared nostrils. 
The Son of the Sheik- much better, much more subtle.  And dang- who knew Rudy was buff??

SOB FEST.  Dang.  Between the dad coming back from Iraq and Sweet Alice- I'm verklempt.  Both Ursus and I sat on the couch with tears running down our faces while the choir sang "This Little Light of Mine" and everybody ate ribs and chicken. 

I must admit- I feel a little subpar when I look at what those people are doing and then at what I do.
