We're having a potluck lunch in honor of our friend Kim that's quitting & moving out of town.
I need something to feed about 30 people that's easy to transport. Any ideas?
Cheese dip and tortilla chips.
Grocery store deli.
I should specify. Anything that isn't chips and dips or cookies.
Pasta salad.
Rotini pasta, Buttermilk Ranch (hidden valley dry mix, made as directed), diced tomatoes, onions, and green peppers.
Easy to make the night before. It might dry a little, so just add a touch more mayo.
It's super easy and yummy and pretty cheap, too. I think that one pack of dressing goes with one box of pasta. You can tweak it if it's too dry or anything, though.

Fine, then.
Get some of those pre-cooked meatballs that are like two and half bucks a bag. Add tasty spaghetti sauce. Profit.
ham
mayo
bread
cut into little triangles
Buy a couple of large bags of M&Ms and bring in a large bowl.
You are all very helpful. Thank you.
Jess, I may do what you're suggesting.
Would a veggie tray be considered too chips and dip? I always liked taking those- make that spinach veggie dip in a breadbowl and put out some crudites...

Yeah - nothing more with dip. We've got a million dips being brought in.

I second this. If not that, maybe you can get a big casserole tray of wings. And then put like celery or something on the side. CLASSY
I think I'm going to go easy & cheap and make cucumber sandwiches.

Yeah, but I don't think cold beefaroni is going to taste good.

Let's be honest- if the potluck is for the women in that picture you showed us, I'd say 75% female would be more accurate.

:D You have a very good point.
Is there any point to having a sandwich open faced other than to save bread?
I just don't like them. I dunno.
Well, I didn't do any of that. Instead, I bought 2 boxes of Clementines. I'll pop them in the fridge tonight & put them in a pretty bowl tomorrow.
