I had the thought of this keyboard back when I used DOS based word processors. Back then, all the keys did the functions and it required massive keyboard templates to reference. It was too expensive back then to have displays on each key.

I suspect that it is still too expensive.

Maybe.  I don't think those are LCDs, though.  They look more like OLED displays to me, which are cheaper to build and implement, but are currently priced high when used in consumer products due to "newness".

Who wants to guess a sale price for this keyboard?
