I wanted some cream of chicken and potato soup tonight, but I couldn't find a recipe to fit the ingredients I had on hand. That being said, I made it up! Oh my god. I am amazing. This stuff is GOOD.
I sauteed diced chicken breast, onions, garlic, and carrots in butter with celery salt, parsley, and thyme. Then I sprinkled on some flour to thicken it up, slowly added chicken broth, then potatoes, then milk, and simmered for about 45 minutes. Oh, and salt and pepper.
I topped it with shredded cheese and YUM OH this stuff is good.
I have no idea what measurements of any of that stuff I used, I just did it til it looked right.

You had me up to there.
Butter makes everything delicious. The other day, a friend and I were making brownies and we didn't have non-olive oil so we substituted butter. WHAM, delicious brownies and we both vowed then and there to always substitute melted butter for non-olive oil.
